Archives

Requests to search documents in Lithuanian archives should be sent directly to the archives. Please provide as much data as you know to facilitate the search and indicate your full name and address. In the web site of Archives Department you will find information about the system of Lithuanian State Archives.

The Consulate General can assist Lithuanian citizens in getting archival documents. In this case the reply of the Lithuanian Archives will be sent to you through the Consulate General. The consular fee for the request of documents is 8 US dollars, payable upon receipt of reply of the Archives.
